007 Legends brings back classic Bond actors

Activision has announced that it’s not just loading up on past Bond films for the upcoming 007 Legends, but past Bond actors as well. Not only have they confirmed that Daniel Craig will be performing as Bond throughout the game, but that Naomie Harris will be taking up her upcoming role from Skyfall along with Rory Kinnear, who plays MI6’s Chief of Staff, Bill Tanner in the recent Bond films. On top of this they’re bringing back classic Bond actors Richard Kiel as Jaws and Michael Lonsdale as Moonraker villain Hugo Drax.

I think we all saw this coming about a mile away at least in terms of Daniel Craig, Naomie Harris and Jaws, but the fact that they pulled back Michael Lonsdale to reprise his role has Hugo Drax is pretty awesome. Makes me wonder what other Bond actors they’ll be getting back, though many of them are now dead. In fact Donald Pleasance, who they seem to have based Blofeld off of for the game, won’t be able to return to the role since he passed away in 1995. Hopefully with all the talent coming in Craig can put a little more care into his performance this time.
