10. The Colosseum
There are plenty of stunning LEGO sets that are modeled after real landmarks, and the 10276 Colosseum set is one of the most impressive. Released in 2020, this set has 9,036 bricks and a price tag of $549.99 when it came out. This set is just one of the many LEGO versions of real architecture that you can snag, and it’s not even the last one on this list.

Also costing $549.99 at retail, the 76210 Hulkbuster is of course based on the massive suit of the same size from Avengers: Age of Ultron. You’ll also get a minifigure of Tony Stark himself, although the full suit towers over him in comparison. If you’re a fan of both LEGO and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this set is one of the best you can add to your collection if you’re willing to spend a pretty penny.

This is hardly going to be the last time we see Star Wars LEGO sets on this list, but we’ll kick off these entries with the 75331 Razor Crest set. The set comes with a detailed interior and tons of minifigures, including The Mandalorian and Grogu. It costs a whopping $599.99 if you want your hands on this ship, but luckily you can still pick it up for retail (if you’re willing to pay the price).

Another famous landmark, the 10307 Eiffel Tower is priced at $629.99, for good reason. This set stands nearly five feet tall when it’s completed and contains over 10,000 bricks. It’s the tallest set that LEGO has ever made, so if you’re a serious collector, you’ll likely want this one to add to your shelves. If you’re not able to get to see the real Eiffel Tower, the LEGO version also works.

Released for the Clone Wars 20th Anniversary in 2023, this LEGO set contains over 5,000 bricks and costs an eye-watering $649.99. Star Wars fans are given some of the best LEGO sets to date, although collectors sets are remarkably pricey, like this one.

Retailing for a massive $679.99, the ship of dreams can be faithfully recreated with just 9,090 LEGO bricks. The 10294 Titanic is the most expensive of the Icons sets that LEGO has made. It’s also one of the largest sets you can get, measuring over 53 inches long. You can adjust the tension line between masts, check out the cross-section of the ship, and watch the pistons turn inside when spinning the propellers. It’s one of the most impressive sets that’s offered and is a great LEGO set for couples. No wonder it’s one of the priciest.
4. Imperial Star Destroyer
Back again to the Star Wars universe, the 75252 Imperial Star Destroyer was released in 2019 for a full $699.99. This price is nothing to scoff at, but it does come with 4,784 pieces that you’ll build into a nearly perfect replica of Darth Vader’s ship The Devastator from Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. This set has only become more expensive as time goes on, making it even more impressive to have in your collection.
3. Liebherr LR 13000
From the Technic sets comes the 42146 Liebherr LR 13000, which is one of the most interactive on this list. It has tank steering, a rotating turntable, a luffing jib, and a winch. Altogether, it stands a full 38 inches tall with all its moving parts that you can control using the CONTROL+ app. However, all this comes at a price, and that price is a whopping $699.99.

The All Terrain Armored Transport, more commonly known as the AT-AT, is another entry from Star Wars that can break the bank if you’re not prepared. The 75313 AT-AT is a replica of the combat walker as seen in plenty of Star Wars media. This set comes with 6,785 bricks to build this iconic vehicle, if you’re willing to drop a full $849.99 for it. It’s tied for being one of the most expensive sets LEGO has ever sold.

Coming in at an eye-watering $849.99, this set released in 2017 is still going strong today for LEGO collectors and Star Wars fanatics alike. It’s the most expensive set of bricks that’s ever been released, so if you’re looking for an affordable LEGO set, you’ll want to give this one a skip.
