I can hardly be the only one who gets tired of seeing unimaginative trailer after trailer, which is why this video for Hitman: Absolution is so great. It’s approximately 18 minutes of IO Interactive demonstrating the game’s Contracts mode, where players create their own custom hits for others to attempt.
While I’m sure there will be some truly absurd challenges to come from the community, in order to create a contract, you have to actually play through it yourself. Rather than use an editor, you just go through the game like normal, but with a few additional steps exclusive to this mode.
Ideally, that’ll lessen the barrier for entry so players who wouldn’t normally design their own content in games can contribute to Absolution.
