Nov. freebie: Walking Dead S2 & Magicka
Update: Newegg’s deal is dead but you can get a 3-month cheap PS Plus code for only $10 at Walmart during Black Friday.
Over the last few years we think Black Friday has morphed from a one-day after-Thanksgiving sale to a week-long blast of offers from various retailers. Exhibit A: PS Plus one-year memberships are now $10 off (20% off) via Newegg:
- PlayStation Plus 12-Month Card — $39.99 (list price $49.99)
- Free shipping in the continental US
- Sales tax in CA, IN, NJ, and TN
This deal arrives by Newegg’s eBay store front, where it frequently skirts MSRP by offloading overstocked items. This is a physical card so unfortunately you’ll have to wait for shipping, but generally Newegg is pretty speedy about things.
The sales tax charged in certain states obviously is where the warehouses are located, and nothing any of us online shopping addicts shouldn’t be aware of by now. Last time we saw PS Plus cards at this price was over three months ago. We suspect we’ll be seeing them around a bit more this week.
Once you add this to your cart (if it arrives before end of the month), you should be able to claim November’s PSN freebie of Magicka 2 and The Walking Dead Season Two.
The cards are selling at a good pace, so if you’re reading this by the end of the day, it’s most likely sold out.
Update: All sold out!
