Volition: Make a game worth stealing, then talk piracy

Recommended Videos

The big piracy debate is one that will rage forever and ever, but at least on studio doesn’t seem to care very much. Volition, currently developing Saints Row: The Third, is more concerned with making a decent game, and will worry about piracy when it has a game worth stealing.

“I don’t think [piracy] is something at the forefront for us,” said studio manager Eric Barker. “First and foremost, we want to make sure we’re making a game people would want to pirate. Let’s make a game that’s worth stealing, and then we’ll worry about making sure they don’t.”

You can’t say fairer than that. Gotta love Volition.
