What are Traits in Dawn Piece
Traits in Dawn Piece increase your stats and the damage you deal to enemies. The damage and stat increases are multiplicative, and they apply only to your base stats and damage. You can see your current trait in the lower-left corner of the Stats menu.
Dawn Piece Trait Tier List
The above Dawn Piece trait tier list ranks all traits based on the overall damage and stat boost they provide you with. In general, rarer traits offer better bonuses, so they obviously end up higher on the tier list. However, we gave a slight advantage to traits that increase your Weapon and Defense stats. The reason for that is that those two are, overall, the most important stats in Dawn Piece.

How to Reroll Traits in Dawn Piece
To reroll traits in Dawn Piece, head to the Logue Town island and then interact with the Trait Reroll NPC to reroll your trait. Each reroll costs you 25 Shards, and there is no confirmation window when trying to reroll a rare trait. So, reroll traits with caution. You can also use the Trait Reroll materials that drop from most bosses to reroll your trait. However, these are very limited to get.
How to Get Shards in Dawn Piece
If you need more Shards to keep rerolling your traits, you can get them from most mini-bosses in Dawn Piece. Each quest mini-boss has a chance of dropping a certain amount of Shards. However, the best mini-boss to farm Shards from is Arlong on the Arlong Park island because he often drops 200 Shards.
