Yesterday, we caught a glimpse of Rig, Dead or Alive 5‘s new Canadian character. Granted, it was from a fuzzy picture of a magazine, but we still got to ponder why, exactly, someone would be named “Rig.”
We have our answer: the mysterious fighter was found on an oil rig with no knowledge of his actual name or past, so naturally, his colleagues started calling him Rig — like you do. He does, however, know Taekwondo, as we learned yesterday. Fighting game logic is the best.
In this latest trailer for the game, Rig gets in a brawl with Bass across a multi-level offshore drilling platform stage dubbed Fuel. There are also plenty of screenshots, a couple of which show off Dead or Alive 5‘s Photo Mode.
