A title called Rebuild of Evangelion Sound Impact is coming from Namco Bandai, and it sounds like one of the many strange things that comes out of Japan that we’ll probably never play. But wait: Grasshopper Manufacture is listed as the developer. Why would Grashopper be making an Evangelion rhythm game?
This rhythm action game lists Grashopper’s Suda 51 as the creative producer, and has Akira Yamaoka doing remixes of the popular anime’s music. There will be 30 tracks that get the Silent Hill composer’s touch.
It’s already odd to see this franchise used for a rhythm game. Having Grasshopper make it takes it beyond strange.
Andriasang says that this PSP game will be released on September 29th.
