Sega has released a trailer for Platinum Games’ upcoming online beat ’em up, Anarchy Reigns, and no, it’s not another character reveal. Anarchy Reigns takes characters from MadWorld and ditches the silly, over the top violence and Sin City-esque art style for a truer beat ’em up experience and an ambitious story.
It seems weird to have a compelling narrative in a beat ’em up, but as Platinum Games is no stranger to innovation and things out of the ordinary, it’ll be interesting to see what they bring to the table.
