PlayStation Plus owners this month will be treated not only to a free copy of PSN title Crash Commando, but also with an early free download of Comix Zone. The brutally difficult comic book themed beat’em up will be making its PSN debut first on PlayStation Plus before it’s made available to non-subscribers.
If you’re more taken with Crash Commando the full DLC bundle will also be made free to download from August 9 onwards. It’ll be joined by a full game trial of Far Cry 2, an avatar bundle based on Breath of Fire IV and the PSN mini title Guerrilla War.
There will of course be some discounts expiring too. A number of free and premium themes as usual, plus the MotorStorm Apocalypse “Revelation Vehicle” pack bundle which expires August 9. The free PSN release of Golden Axe also expires then, so make this week the week to finally achieve your one credit clear award!
Trust me, it’ll be a hell of a lot easier than beating Comix Zone at all.
