There was a point last year, amidst a dearth of Xbox 360 releases, that I would download every single demo that hit the Xbox Live Marketplace. Among those games, was the demo for THQ’s MotoGP ’06.
It looked gorgeous in screens and I was anxious to see how it would play, particularly because at that point, I’d had enough of Geometry Wars and Hexic to last me a lifetime. As it turned out, MotoGP ’06 was not for me. Sliding into walls around every curve and flinging my rider into the air, it’s not a pretty sight. There’s a reason I don’t and won’t ride a real motorcycle — I’m a wimp.
MotoGP ’07 looks like it will offer me the same, painful experience as last year’s game. But boy, does it look pretty. Again.
