As we do every weekend, there’s a whole bunch of great live content happening this weekend on Dtoid TV. You will absolutely not want to miss Sean Velasco’s triumphant return to Sup, Holmes?, where it’s entirely likely there will be all sorts of juicy Shovel Knight tidbits to be learned.
But that’s not what’s on my mind this morning. No, I’m wondering what the hell happened to Count Chocula. I haven’t had it in a couple of years now, it not being a product sold in stores near my home, so I was pretty excited about the four boxes of the stuff I ordered from Amazon last week (when it finally dawned on me that such a thing was possible).
I just had a bowl and this is not the cereal I remember. The cocoa balance has changed and it tastes far less sweet than it used to. I don’t know if I even want to keep eating this stuff, but I’ve got the four boxes and an uncontrollable practicality which will make me suffer through. Oh, why can’t the things I love just stay the same forever?
