This past week marked the official end of Bungie’s control over the Halo series. As they hand over the keys to 343 Studios, Bungie had one last parting gift to fans in the form of an infographic stat chart! Bungie collected numerous stats spanning all of the online enabled Halo games, and since 2004 we’ve played roughly 20,880,250,123 games of Halo matchmaking.
To put it in another way, that equals 235,182 years worth of Halo playtime. According to Bungie, “the collective time you’ve spent playing Halo you could have travelled across the expanse of the Milky Way at the speed of light … and back.”
Bungie is currently on work on a new Activision project while 343 is busy with Halo 4. Speaking of which, 343 released some new images detailing a new multiplayer map in Halo 4 called Warhouse.
