You can’t see me right now, so you’ll just have to take my word for it: I’m jumping for joy. Why, you ask? Well I just pre-purchased Guild Wars 2. If you haven’t done so already then you can, too. NCsoft and ArenaNet have opened up the floodgates to pre-purchasing hordes this very day. Normally I don’t get this excited over pre-purchasing a game. I mean, I’m spending money on something I won’t be able to play for quite some time, but it’s Guild Wars 2 and I’m not ashamed to say it’s been making me drool for ages now.
On top of getting the game when it launches, pre-purchasing the game gets you guaranteed access to the beta weekends as well as a three day head start and an in game item. Standard fare, but enticing nonetheless. There are three versions of the game and they all come with different swag, which you can check out here.
