2K Games has announced the obligatory Borderlands 2 special editions. Yep, two of them! Both a Limited and a Collector’s edition will be waiting for your wallets on September 18. Let’s find out what you’ll get for your coin.
The Deluxe Vault Hunter’s Collector’s Edition costs $99.99 and will net you a Marcus Kincaid bobblehead, an art book, a sticker set, Pandora map, digital comic download code, and bonus in-game content.
For $149.99, however, you could get the Ultimate Loot Chest Limited Edition which includes all of the above, plus a scaled replica of red loot chest, steel book case, “Creatures of Pandora” ID chart, lithograph postcards, Sir Hammerlock’s field notes, Pandora cloth map, and a numbered certificate of authenticity.
Pre-ordering any of these editions (including the regular version) will grant access to the Borderlands 2 Premier Club, which gives you the following in-game stuff: Golden Key, Gearbox Gun Pack, Vault Hunter’s Relic and access to the Mechromancer class.
This all sounds ludicrous. Kind of awesome, but ultimately ludicrous.
