Your June Club Nintendo offerings are up and ready to go, and they look pretty darn good (provided that you’re a Nintendo fan of course). This month you can buy Donkey Kong (3DS VC) for 100 coins, Kirby Super Star (Wii VC) for 150 coins, Maboshi’s Arcade (WiiWare) for 150 coins, and Brain Age Express: Sudoku (3DS) for 150 coins.
As for the quality of the above titles, I’ve beaten Kirby Super Star at least 50 times — other than Dream Course, it’s probably my favorite Kirby game. If you haven’t picked it up yet, now is your chance! It not only features a ton of different modes (pretty much all of which are fun), but full two player coop support.
Younger gamers may also not have experienced Donkey Kong for the original Game Boy. This isn’t the same Donkey Kong you’ve seen in those arcade documentaries — this is a follow-up that features a full story mode, as well as a ton of different level concepts that make it more of a full release than an arcade game. While it never rose to fame like it’s big brother, I’d still put it in the “must play” category. Maboshi’s Arcade is an odd looking three player party-fest. As for Sudoku, well, it’s Sudoku with a “twist”.
