No more playing around, the Crackdown demo is really going to come this time. According to Major Nelson and the official forums, the demo will hit for Xbox Live Gold members (membership has its privileges) on Tuesday, Jan. 23, at 2 a.m. Pacific. Here’s your chance to test out the game before you buy it on Feb. 20 — you know, for that Halo 3 beta.
Not-really-joking aside, Crackdown is a solid game. Every chance I’ve had to play it, the title has proven itself to be more than just a way to get into that coveted Halo 3 beta program.
