Following the intriguing but not exactly specific Team Fortress 2 news last week, Valve has come right out and said that “Meet the Pyro” is finally going to debut on Wednesday. For now, though, we’re getting free updates during the build up to the reveal and all is right with the world.
Day one of the Pyromania update introduces a new game mode titled Doomsday in which one team attempts to launch a rocket while the other naturally tries to prevent that from occurring. I haven’t seen it in action yet, but it sounds like I might finally have another go-to mode that isn’t Payload.
Time to reinstall Team Fortress 2.
