Get a good look at this supposed leaked screenshot of a Prince of Persia reboot, first posted on the Prince of Persia forums. The folks at NeoGAF point out that the screen is labeled “POP_ZERO_2,” and Joystiq reminds that a former art director used this same name in an interview with CVG awhile back.
If this screen is legit, it’s from something early. Note the ass-y ground texture, the floating citizens, and the lulzworthy 13 frames per second indicator. I also love the poses of the two children in the screenshot.
If this is a POP reboot, what do you think about how it looks? Where could they be going with this? And do we really need another Prince game?
