Despite being 100+ degrees outside in Dallas, Texas all week, we somehow survived QuakeCon. Maybe having amazing A/C in the Hilton had something to do with it.

I had low expectations going to QuakeCon this year, but was surprised by a strong showing once again. While trying out Oculus Rift and Rise of the Triad were highlights, I had a lot of fun with Hotline Miami and can always play some more Dishonored. Though it sucked losing my laptop, I eventually got it back. All’s well that ends well, right? 

Though I’m not done with QuakeCon coverage just yet (still have interviews to transcribe, features to write), here’s what we got up to this week at the Con:
