Remember when Aaron so somberly wept over the last shreds of hope regarding a proper translation for Mother 3? As it turns out, he wept a bit prematurely.
HarassmentPanda (which, we’re going to assume is not his Christian Name), sent us a link to some work being done over at Mother3.org. They have just released the first video of their efforts on a translation for Mother 3 (aka Earthbound 2, aka Daddy Fat Sacks …), and it looks fantastic. Ok, actually, it looks exactly like Mother 3, which is, to say, like an SNES game, but in that light, it’s some gorgeous work.
Nintendo, this is the public telling you to go c****** f*** yourselves. If you don’t want to localize a game we’ve been clamoring for since the dawn of time in proper King’s English, we’ll do it for you! Take that! Now you don’t have to lift a finger to profit off of us! How does that feel?!
