Sony Online Entertainment president John Smedley has pinned the EverQuest Next Landmark alpha as happening next month. “It’s looking like [the alpha] is going to start sometime in the last half of January,” he tweeted. That’s naturally subject to change, but, fingers crossed.
“He warned us. Sorta. Not a surprise to see this. :)” responded director of development for EverQuest David Georgeson.
Now that I know what Landmark entails, I’m so down for this. The creation tools appear quick enough — and the end results pretty enough — that I actually want to build stuff for once.
