Plus a little Kickstarter hype for a good friend of the live channel
[Mash Tactics airs Monday through Friday at 4p.m. Pacific on Dtoid.TV. Watch Rick ‘King Foom’ Olson play a variety of games, each day with its own theme. With a heavy focus on community and viewer interaction, you can be as much a part of the show as anything else.]
I’m just getting over a nasty head cold, so we’re going to take things easy tonight, and jump into a few rounds of Talisman: Digital Edition. While I’ve never played this, or the board game that it is based on, the game has come highly recommended by a couple close friends of mine, so I’m pretty confident that it will be a good time.
Speaking of friends, tonight, we’re going to try and do what we can to help out a good friend of the live channel, Gregory Wilson, in his mission to get his graphic novel Icarus off the ground. With a great story, and awesome artwork by Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles artist, Matt Slay, this book has a lot of potential, and deserves some attention. Come by the show tonight as Greg and I sit down and talk about the novel, the Kickstarter behind it, and the possibility of Icarus becoming a videogame somewhere down the line, all while kicking back and playing some Talisman.
