Jonathan Holmes is one of the founding editors!
So Nintendo Power is over and done with. Tears and all that. Pour one out for our homies.
The throne has been abdicated. Time for a new king to rise to power.
You’ve likely heard about a little something called Nintendo Force magazine. Lucas Thomas, Nintendo editor over on IGN, decided that there always needs to be a source of non-stop Nintendo news in this world, so he decided to fire off a few emails and assemble a team, Avengers style.
Nintendo Force will be both a print and online periodical, and the founding team features 16 of the most notable Nintendo heads in the industry. The squad includes got Kevin “RMC” Cassidy from GoNintendo, Matthew Taranto from Brawl in the Family, my buddy David Oxford from 1UP and The Mega Man Network, Daan Koopman from Nintendo World Report, and the loveable, huggable Jonathan Holmes, who has been a sneaky little sneak and not told anyone of his secret plans!
I wish the magazine the best and hope it can carry the torch that Nintendo Power hoisted for nearly 25 years. Follow all the updates, including the yet-to-be-announced first issue launch, either on the Nintendo Force website or the Facebook page.
