Costs more than a few microtransactions
As a hardcore fan of Dead Space, I’m tempted by any bits of tat bearing some vague connection to the series. Even so, it’ll take some convincing to get me to shell out $265 for a watch.
This limited edition Dead Space 3 is restricted to 500 pieces, and EA Gear plans to ship to customers from February 25. For those interested in specifics, the watch has a copper stainless steel bezel with a black rubber strap and stainless steel buckle. They’re individually numbered, and come in special boxes bearing the Dead Space 3 logo.
The fanboy in me is tempted, the logical human in me cannot justify shelling out so much money for an object that’s practically obsolete these days. That, and I already gave EA Gear a hundo for the Dead Space 3 Dev Team Edition. I ain’t made of money.
