Good news, everyone! Nintendo announced a new entry in the Fire Emblem series today.
The strategy role-playing game is in development for Nintendo 3DS at Intelligent Systems. As was the case with Fire Emblem: Awakening, the character design is being handled by Kozaki Yusuke. New to the team is manga writer and novelist Shin Kibayashi, who Nintendo president Satoru Iwata says is creating a “unique atmosphere” for the game.
Iwata also stated the new project features an increased focus on player choice, the consequences of which will reverberate throughout the game’s world in unprecedented fashion.
