Lots of maps
Resident Evil Revelations 2 will bring back Raid Mode, and Capcom has taken to its blog to explain everything. When you buy the initial episode, you’ll get both the campaign and 54 Raid Mode missions on three difficulties. More maps will come with additional episodes, and in the end, there will be over 200.
You can do split-screen co-op (yes!) initially, but online play won’t be available until “shortly after the final episode launches in March.” New weapons, parts, and skills are in, as are 15 playable characters, some of which will eventually be available as paid DLC.
The disc version that will be released eventually for $39.99 will come with Wesker, and the digital edition for $24.99 comes with Hunk. Capcom has made it clear that you won’t be locked out of anything either way, and all content will go on sale.
