Closed beta extended through weekend, ends May 3
If you haven’t heard about Rocket League yet for the PlayStation 4, then let me sum it up for you in just three words: soccer with cars. The game is the sequel to the PlayStation 3’s Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle Cars and it’s just as you would expect, addictive and fun as hell.
Right now, there is a closed beta going on, but it has been extended until 10 p.m. Pacific on May 3. If you haven’t signed up yet, you can do it right here: closed beta sign up.
While the beta, as of now, only supports up to 3v3 matches, the full game will go up to 4v4 and support up to four-player splitscreen. Oh yeah, you read that right, four-player local splitscreen.
