Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is sticking it to the man, with $4.5 million raised, making it the most successful game on Kickstarter. But IGA and his team aren’t resting on their laurels just yet, as even more content has been announced.

There will be a minigame of sorts created that serves as a prequel, much akin to Mighty Gunvolt — if you backed it at $28 or higher, you’re covered with a code. Additionally, Yacht Club Games has announced its involvement with the project, and a bulked-up Shovel Knight character will make a cameo in the game.

The scope of this project since the start of the campaign has massively grown. As a recap, we now have a Vita version, a Wii U port, a DRM-free edition on GOG.com, a third playable character, nightmare difficulty, cheat codes, a speed run mode, a boss rush gametype, a new boss, local co-op and online co-op/versus, New Game+, a Classic Mode, Japanese and English voice acting, Jake “virt” Kaufman joining the music lineup, two new voice actors including David Hayter, and the 2D minigame.
