Mii amiibo on their way! Should they be called Miimibo? That sounds a bit like a name for a Gremlin from the movie Gremlins. Anyway, these amiibo work the same as traditional amiibo, and as you would expect, the Mii that is tied to the their appearance and moves are completely customizable. The Mii Fighters will be available as amiibo in September.
In addition, R.O.B., Duck Hunt, Mr. Game and Watch, and Falco are also getting amiibo in September. More importantly, Mr. Game and Watch has multiple different poses that you can swap out! He’s also flat. He might be the best amiibo of all time.
Sakurai also stated what everyone pretty much knew: all Smash fighters are getting amiibo, which also includes the newly announced Roy and Ryu.
