A demo Activision’s upcoming wallet-liner, Spider-Man: Friend or Foe, has hit Xbox Live today. Coming in at 431.29 MB, the demo puts Spider-Man alongside either the Green Goblin or Venom, as they battle it out on the roof tops of Tokyo.
My wife and I fired up the demo this morning to give some of the co-op action a try, and what we found was an average looking and fairly straight forward beat ’em up. The game reminded me a bit of LEGO Star Wars — simple, and for the first three minutes of the game, I found myself stuck in an infinite death loop after falling off a ledge. Still, in the vein of Traveler’s Tales’ title, it seems like it could be some mindless but enjoyable action.
Spider-Man: Friend of Foe ships on October 2 for everything but the PlayStation 3. No, really, I mean it.
