Sup Holmes every Sunday at 2:30pm EST!
[Sup Holmes is a weekly talk show for people that make great videogames. It airs live every Sunday at 4pm EST on YouTube, and can be found in Podcast form on Libsyn and iTunes.]
[Update: Show’s over folks! Thanks so much to Greg for hanging out with us! The rerun should be up soon. In the meantime, here’s a Kickstarter trailer for Wandersong. It’s really good.]
Due to circumstances beyond out control, we haven’t broadcast a new episode of Sup Holmes for two weeks! We’re very sorry. To make up for it, we’ve got not one put two shows for you today, though one is only available in podcast form.
Earlier this week, I spoke with former game developer Merritt Kopas on her podcast Woodland Secrets about Splatoon, The Force Awakens, Fatherhood, Road Rules, Murder, She Wrote, The Backstroke of the West, and a whole bunch of other stuff, so if you’re looking for some new chatter to fill your head with, we’ve got you covered.
As for today, we’re going live with Sup Holmes right here at 2:30pm EST with Greg Lobanov, the creator of the music driven exploration platformer Wandersong. We’ll be talking to Greg about why he passed on a pixel-art aesthetic in favor of paper cut-out look, what inspired him to take the risk on developing a game that uses singing as a core mechanic, and a lot more. We’d love to field your questions live in the chat, so please jump-in into our Youtube channel and show us what you’ve got.
