Valkyria Chronicles came out on PC yesterday. It was a good day. Especially if you’re Sega Sammy Holdings Inc. Money, money, money, money… Money!

Sega was proud to announce the amazing strategy role-playing game “forced its way to the top of the Steam download charts,” at least for a short while. As of press time, the title still resides amongst the top three best-sellers on the platform, behind only Sega’s own Football Manager 2015 and this year’s strain of the Call of Duty virus.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the fans for their support in the phenomenal success of this launch,” said John Clark, senior VP of commercial publishing for Sega Europe. “We’re also delighted at the response from the Steam community which indicates that newcomers to the series are finding it as enchanting and engaging as those who have played it before.”

Good, good. Now localize the one you didn’t release over here and make more of these things.
