Hyper Light Drifter will release on PC March 31

A long time coming

Backers shouldn’t be surprised by this news; surveys went out to those who supported the initial Kickstarter campaign early last week. For everybody else, it may feel like Hyper Light Drifter was never going to see the light of day, but it finally has a release date of Mac and Windows: March 31. That’s pretty soon!

PlayStation 4 and Xbox One releases are planned for this summer. A Vita release is still planned, but with no release window. The Wii U version is “currently in limbo,” so it may never see the light of day.

Along with the launch announcement comes a nice trailer showing off the action gameplay set to a somber piano tune. And a big pink Terminator-lookin’ thing.
