Final Fantasy XV’s movie gets a debut date, more special editions in the works

July in Japanese theaters

Final Fantasy is a multimedia franchise once again, and will appear in theaters later this year in Japan. That’s Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV, to be exact, which now has a premiere date of July 29. It will feature King Regis (played by Sean Bean), who is the father of Noctis. Aaron Paul will head up his Kingsglaive task force. If you happen to reside in Japan, you can grab tickets on April 23.

The company has also noted that they will make more Collectors Editions available (which sold out in minutes), though they may not come until after launch (!). In other news, sadly, today’s Active Time Report update is a recap, and has no new information.
