A decent buff for Ana
Sneaky Blizzard made some adjustments to the PC edition of Overwatch yesterday, implementing a new patch that made changes to two solitary characters.
Ana, who the team calls “a little bit weaker overall” in comparison to the rest of the cast, had a straight 20% rate of fire increase, as well as a magazine size bump from eight to 10 rounds. This can’t be seen as anything other than a huge buff for Ana, and you know what — I’m perfectly okay with Blizzard tuning supports (see Zenyatta who is now more viable as of the last update).
McCree however is getting a little bit of a nerf to his range, which Blizzard claims is still better than he was at launch, but worse than it was in the last big McCree patch. His alternate rate of fire has been increased a bit to compensate though, and his recovery time after throwing a flashbang has been improved.
Good changes all around, though I hope they can find the right balance for McCree sooner than later — he’s the most tweaked character to date.
