IGA need some new stretch goals
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, the newly announced project from Castlevania veteran Koji Igarashi, has pulled in more than $1.3 million on Kickstarter since its unveiling yesterday.
In doing so, it’s proved (contrary to what publishers may believe) people still want to play this type of game, blowing the campaign’s $500,000 crowdfunding goal out of the water. In addition to that, the total has already eclipsed its stretch goals, unlocking everything from a second playable character and David Hayter voice work to a local co-op mode.
With 31 days still on the board before the campaign draws to a close, Igarashi and the team at Inti Creates might want to conceptualize some new objectives. The sky is the limit here, it seems.
