Thanks, Korea
We aren’t getting a new Assassin’s Creed this year (save for two Chronicles games and a movie), but we might be getting some old Assassin’s Creed sometime soon. Well, it’s new old Assassin’s Creed. Remasters. Remasters is what I’m trying to say.
It sure looks like Ubisoft is remastering Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations — the Ezio trilogy — for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. That news comes via another ratings board leak, this time in South Korea.
While nothing has been confirmed, this certainly seems rather plausible. Ezio’s games are the ones that are generally regarded as the best in the franchise (especially Assassin’s Creed II and Brotherhood). If Ubisoft’s looking to make some extra cash even when it’s not putting out a new Assassin’s Creed, this would probably be the most sure-fire way to do it.
