Before, PS3 was the lead
Tecmo Koei’s Omega Force is planning an Attack on Titan project, to be released on the PS3, PS4, and Vita platforms. Speaking to Dengeki, producer Hisashi Koinuma notes that this is the first time they are really focusing on the PS4, as the PS3 has historically been the lead platform. Apparently, they’ve remade the action mechanics three times over just to ensure that they get it right, and development started all the way back in 2013.
They took a lot of time to develop the 3D Maneuver Gear movements, essentially confirming that humans seem to be the focus of gameplay, rather than playing as a Titan against hordes of adversaries — so it could feel very different in comparison to most Warriors games. Having said that, they aren’t telling anyone right now whether or not Eren Jaegar, the protagonist of the series, is the main character.
Honestly, I hope it goes in a different direction in a new area. Or, we just get to control Levi, Mikasa, and Sasha the entire time and cut out the whining altogether.
