Four figures across four hours
How are you holding up, amiibo friends? It’s just another manic Friday in amiiboland, another wave release that required lining up outside stores to greedily snatch up Nintendo figurines. If you missed out on that, you still have a real good chance at picking up everything that wasn’t an exclusive.
Amazon’s putting its stock of amiibo up one at a time beginning at 1pm PST. That’s 15 minutes from now! Ganondorf‘s hitting leadoff at 1pm, Zero Suit Samus goes on sale at 2pm, Pikmin‘s Olimar is at 3pm, and the 30th anniversary Mario classic figure concludes the day at 4pm. (Ignore those inflated prices for now; when they go live, the price will drop to normal and the seller will be “Amazon.com.”)
As always, demand will be very high but not overwhelmingly impossible. Amazon usually has its ducks in a row when it comes to amiibo hocking. The online retailer says it has a fair amount of stock of each figure. Basically, it boils down to you’ll get one if you show up on time. Lollygaggers will have to look elsewhere for their amiibo fix.
Here are some notes to take into consideration: There’s a limit of one of each figure per customer. One-click ordering is turned-off. Make sure your address and credit card information is sorted ahead of time. Adding an amiibo to your cart doesn’t reserve it; you have to checkout to complete the order.
Alright, now that all of that is out of the way, prepare yourself for imminent amiibo. Oh, your poor F5 key.
