Mega Man Legacy Collection on 3DS will support amiibo

When it arrives in 2016

So it’s a major bummer that Mega Man Legacy Collection isn’t coming to 3DS until 2016, but apparently it will arrive with extra features not present on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One editions of the game. As detailed by Capcom Unity, the 3DS version will have 10 additional challenges that are unlocked by the Mega Man amiibo.

Not a bad little extra to make up for all the waiting, and it isn’t absurd enough to warrant getting upset about for other platform owners. For reference, there is no Wii U version planned.
