Per a European trademark
God Eater Resurrection, a remake of Bandai Namco’s take on the Monster Hunter formula, looks like it’s coming west, or so suggests a European trademark filing made December 18.
In January of this year, the publisher also filed a mark for Rage Burst, the subtitle for God Eater 2‘s expansion, though the publisher has not made any official comment about localizing either title.
Bandai Namco has, however, launched a countdown website, which is teasing an announcement for tomorrow morning, Monday at 8am Eastern time. So I suppose we may know more soon.
God Eater Resurrection and God Eater 2: Rage Burst are both designed for PlayStation 4 and Vita, and have been available in Japan since this October and February 2014, respectively.
The only entry in the series to see a western release to this point is an enhanced version of the original God Eater, titled Gods Eater Burst, which was released in March 2011 for the PSP.
