The entire country of Canada has a Twitter account with a paltry 197,000 followers, which is about 115 times less followers than Kanye West has. The guy who played McLovin in Superbad almost has more Twitter followers than Canada.
And Canada clearly feels bad about this so it’s using a strategy typically reserved by really shitty brands, which is to latch onto a news topic (in this case, Pokemon Sun and Moon) and make it all about meee.
