WWE 2K17 is officially a thing. Shocker, I know! What is perhaps even more shocking is not only is it coming to current generation consoles, but PS3 and Xbox 360 as well. No PC version has been announced, though as you may remember last year’s entry for PC arrived months after the console release.
Those who pre-order the game will get not one, but two versions of Goldberg; a WCW and a WWE version. Also included with pre-orders are two arenas based on iconic moments in Goldberg’s career: WCW Monday Nitro and WCW Halloween Havoc.
If you watch closely in the cheesy live-action trailer above you’ll be able to see a road sign for Suplex City, hinting that it is where the cops are taking Mr. Goldberg. If you are up on your WWE lingo then you should know that Suplex City is a Brock Lesnar thing, which means this is perhaps hinting at Goldberg coming back to WWE to face Lesnar. It would make sense as the last time Goldberg competed in the WWE was WrestleMania XX against, you guessed it, Brock Lesnar.
