As retail stores across the USA fix shattered doorways and shelving units, while hapless shoppers repair equally shattered wrists and ankles, the curtain falls on another Black Friday weekend.
From Friday, through the horrendously-titled Cyber Monday, retailers slashed prices on a wealth of goods. From electrical items and top fashions, to the important things like amiibo and Hyperdimension Neptunia games, cash registers everywhere were ringing, not unlike the alarm bells that’ll sound when December’s credit card bill arrives.
So, what did all of youse guys and gals grab this weekend? My single purchase was DOOM for PS4 I found it for just £7, my price limit for anything. Anything. But maybe some of you came away with a new Nintendo Switch, or a plethora of 2017’s best games. Then there are those of you who didn’t buy anything, immune to the consumer frenzy. I salute you.
