30 minutes, to be exact
Inside, Playdead’s follow-up to 2010’s Limbo, releases on Xbox One today and on PC next week. I quite liked it, as you could tell if you bothered to read a bunch of words in our official review.
If you aren’t sure what Inside is, well, there’s a reason for that. Playdead has been intentionally mum over the past several years. It truly is an experience that’s best when gone into without much knowledge at all. That’s when Inside really makes the most of its opportunity to get its hooks in you.
For those of you who aren’t sold on that or who want a better look before buying, well, it’s tough to blame you. That’s why I captured my first 30 minutes with Inside. I went in completely blind, and this is my raw and unedited first shot at the game. There’s a bit of dying and some minor struggling with puzzles, but I think it went mostly okay.
And, if you’re really into getting a deep dive into Inside, I’ll be posting a guide for all the collectibles tomorrow.
