There are already some fantastic candidates
I’ve been thinking about Inside a lot lately. That’s bound to happen when you spend a ton of time writing both a review and a detailed secrets guide. The more I think about it, the more I think that it might be a serious contender for my personal game of the year.
But wait. Even though it feels like a lifetime ago, The Witness also came out this year. So did Devil Daggers. And Doom. And Stephen’s Sausage Roll. And Overwatch. The point is that there are a lot of serious contenders for game of the year thus far; this is just the stuff that’s on my list.
If you had to cast your vote at the halfway point of 2016, what game gets the nod from you? What has been your personal game of the year so far? (For what it’s worth, mine is still very much The Witness.)
