Discount your preload
Preloading for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided fires up at 9:00am Pacific on Friday, August 19. If you want to pick up a copy in time for both the preload and those pre-order bonuses, two digital retailers are danging the pre-order discount incentives at up to 30% off:
- Standard Edition at GMG is $44.99 (25% off)
- Standard Edition at DLGamer is $41.99 (30% off)
- Digital Deluxe Edition at GMG is $67.49 (25% off)
The deals are available at both GMG and DLGamer. GMG, the second largest PC gaming retailer on the net, is out of the gate with a 25% pre-order discount to $45 and offers the same percentage price break on the Digital Deluxe Edition to $67.49.
DLGamer is the second retailer to watch with an even greater 30% discount on the Standard Edition of the game, but no similar offer for the Digital Deluxe version.
Both retailers are authorized retailers by publisher Square Enix. This means you get the same pre-order discounts you would at Steam Store for full price. As of writing, we know for certain DLgamer is sending out keys immediately after purchase — just in time for tomorrow’s preload adventure. Update: We just got confirmation that GMG is now sending out all keys when purchased too.
If you’re not a hardcore Deus Ex fan, we’d advise waiting till release date before you pick up any of these “deals.” How likely are they to be around still? Based on recent experiences, discounts for PC digital titles will always be available — but they will simply be a variation of percentages discounted. We’re expecting the 30% off discount to be reduced slightly to 25% or below, while the 25% off at GMG may be scaled back to 20% off or less.
