Time to pull out your party hats, shmup fans! Word has it that Omega 5 will finally hit Live Arcade on January 9 after apparently being finished for some time now.

Since the official press release hasn’t been sent out yet, there’s really not much more to say on the matter. Omega 5 will be here next Wednesday, it looks stunning for a Live Arcade game, and it’ll most likely cost 800 Microsoft Points.
