This could be Nintendo’s MGS 4 killer: Line Rider for the Wii

Recommended Videos

Destructoid’s own Sir Jimmothy Sterling has recently made an appeal to the Xbox 360 owning masses to consider the possibility that they may some day be converted to the PS3 dark side. Well now it’s my turn to try and convert you 360 owners, but I’ll be baptizing you in the sweet water of the Wii. And unlike Sir Jim, I have not only words, but video for with to be washing your brains.

Behold 360 owners! Salivate profusely as you gaze upon the first video of the only Wii game you need in order to feel complete!  RIDGER RACEEEEEER! LINE RIDEEEEEEEEER!

In all seriousness, Line Rider is a fun free game, and like Geometry Wars and Tumiki Fighters, a beefed up version of the title may be worth paying for. But if the game’s developers expect people to buy Line Rider: Wii Edition for the same amount they spent on Super Mario Galaxy or Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess, the only line they’ll be riding is the unemployment line. No matter how much you beef this one up, it’s still too vacant a concept to cost more than $5-$10. It’s WiiWare or bust if you ask me.
